Flooid Power is energy generated by a source that’s not going away anytime soon—the gravity inherent in Earth’s mass. Flooid Power uses displacement and buoyancy to generate affordable, consistent electricity for homes and businesses—all within a self- contained, non-polluting unit that pays for itself in 2-4 years. FPS has designed, patented, built, and tested a revolutionary renewable energy system.

The Flooid Tower system is designed primarily for micro-grids and distributed power applications, in which generation is sited close to the end user, improving demand response and minimizing line loss. Distributed generation systems significantly strengthen traditinal power grids, adding redundancy and reliability.

Flooid Power Project A, a 120-foot pilot Flooid Tower, will be built in collaboration with, and on land owned by, Holyoke Gas & Electric, and  will be our first fully operational Flooid Power plant. Project A when completed will provide continuous electricity to approximately 350 average homes (3,355,000 kWhs/year), producing significant annualrevenues, and demonstrating the Flooid Power process in a local setting.

Flooid Power towers can be located virtually any where on earth. System are very compact and only require 4.5 sq-ft/kW or 4,500 sq-ft/MW of installed capacity but operate 24/7.

$2,800/kW or $2.8 million/MW installed equipment capacity

$0.117 million/MWH installed capacity for actual production per average day

LEC/kWh =$0.034

Flood Power will quickly scale projects to commercial size with the Holyoke “Water  St.” Project a 24.5MW Flooid Power Plant on an old manufacturing site.  This will demonstrate Flooid Power ability to fit into local setting and generate utility levels of renewable electricity.  This plant will supply power for 1/3 of the citys electrical needs.

On-site Power in an Urban Setting

Future projects will include on-site power in a large metropolitan urban setting.  Our system can be installed inside a new construction building occupying about 150 to 200-sq-ft per floor (about an extra elevator shaft) plus a half-floor of the basement and will provide continuous power for this building as well as the surrounding community.  With power generation in the middle of the city several power generating buildings would be the start of a true integrated grid. Building owner saves on energy costs, also making revenue by selling power to the grid.
